Every day at 10:00 AM a brand-new challenge puzzle is unlocked. All players around the world get the exact same puzzle, so scores are comparable. You get one attempt per day — your best score is submitted to the global leaderboard. Come back tomorrow for a new puzzle!
The Daily Challenge is designed to be fair — every player gets one attempt on the same puzzle so the leaderboard reflects pure skill, not the number of retries. You can play unlimited free games in the regular mode anytime.
Leaderboard scores are only submitted from Daily Challenge games — regular free-play games do not appear on the leaderboard. Make sure you started your game from the "Daily Challenge" card on the home screen. Also check that you have an active internet connection when the game ends.
The game uses progressive difficulty based on your current score:
🟢 Easy (0 – 499 pts): Simple shapes — singles, dominoes, trominoes, small squares.
🟡 Medium (500 – 1499 pts): Mix of easy + tetrominoes, L-shapes, T-shapes, S/Z-shapes.
🔴 Hard (1500+ pts): All shapes including pentominoes, plus-signs, and big squares.
This ensures the game stays fun for beginners while becoming a real challenge for high scorers.
You can toggle Daily Challenge reminders in Settings → Notifications inside the app. You can also manage permissions from your device's notification settings:
iOS: Settings → Notifications → Block Blast Pro Android: Settings → Apps → Block Blast Pro → Notifications
The app only uses local (on-device) notifications — we never send push notifications from our servers.
Undo reverts your last block placement so you can try a different position. You have a limited number of undos per game — use them wisely! The count resets each new game.
When you clear multiple lines (rows or columns) in a single block placement, you earn a combo bonus. Clearing 2 lines at once gives 1.5× points, 3 lines gives 2× points, and so on. Chaining combos across consecutive placements multiplies your score further — mastering combos is the key to reaching the leaderboard top.
Crash reports are automatically sent to our team via Firebase Crashlytics. To help us fix the issue faster, please email us with your device model, OS version, and what you were doing when it crashed. We'll investigate as quickly as possible.
Yes — Block Blast Pro is completely free to download and play. The game is supported by ads (Google AdMob). You can opt out of personalized ads on iOS via the App Tracking Transparency prompt shown at first launch, or by going to your device's Privacy settings.
Yes! Regular free-play games work fully offline. An internet connection is only required to submit your score to the global leaderboard at the end of a Daily Challenge game. Ads may also require connectivity to load.
Pro Tips
1
Plan ahead
Look at all three blocks in your tray before placing any. Build toward clearing multiple lines at once.
2
Clear combos
Clearing two or more lines in one placement multiplies your score. Aim for corners and edges.
3
Keep it open
Avoid filling the grid edge to edge. Leave space for awkward shapes that may appear later.
4
Save your Undo
Don't waste Undo on small mistakes. Reserve it for placements that block a large area.
5
Daily = leaderboard
Only Daily Challenge scores appear on the leaderboard. Play daily for your best ranking.
6
Rotate mentally
Blocks can't be rotated, so scan each shape and find where it fits before dragging.
